Well the climbing frame arrived by delivery truck in the middle of last week. Thankfully the weather wasn’t too bad over the weekend, which gave us 2 days to put it all together. Thank you to Sue and all who helped raised funds for this – it is very much appreciated.

We had a little help from Joshua and Daniel, who seeing we were using power tools, were all too keen to help as well. We started to put it together saturday morning and we were able to finally finish sunday afternoon.

This is the complete climbing frame in the garden. The climbing frame we choose came with 2 swing positions, we have unclipped one of the swings and were able to purchase from Germany a disability swing seat so that Chloe could lay down and swing.

There are a number of disability swing seats out there, but unfortunately Chloe’s head and neck muscles aren’t strong enough to be sat up in an upright position whilst on it.

Both boys and Chloe love it. We had spent little time in the garden previously with Chloe, where we have previously only had the options really to sit Chloe in her wheelchair or lay Chloe flat on the floor. Chloe seems to react well to the wind, and the feeling of the breeze on her face.
